Janine Wildschut – Leader of AiM’s Reclamation & Remediation Division
Meet Janine Wildschut, Ph.D., P.Biol – Leader of AiM’s Reclamation & Remediation Division
We are pleased to introduce Janine Wildschut, Janine is our new manager of our Reclamation and Remediation division. If you are planning a project that requires planning to avoid sensitive habitats and protected areas, optimize the area needed for mining and in situ well sites, work with other land users to reduce the disturbance footprint by sharing roads and pipelines and employ technologies to minimize emissions, Janine and her Reclamation and Remediation team may be able to help.
Janine comes to us with over 10 years of experience in environmental consulting and industry. She has worked predominantly in upstream and midstream oil and gas and is well versed in both provincial and federal regulatory requirements for reclamation and remediation activities.
As such, AiM’s Reclamation and Remediation services now include:
-
- Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
- Phase II ESAs
- Remediation
- Waste Management
- Reclamation
- Pre-site Assessments
- Post-site Assessments
Having worked for an NEB-regulated midstream company for the past five years, and having the opportunity to manage and mitigate environmental liability for sites constructed in the 50s and 60s, Janine brings to AiM a broad knowledge of the oil and gas industry. This division will be designed to provide unique and streamlined approaches to environmental liability reduction, harnessing the power of the already created GIS Fusion application. Fusion will be modified to create an interface for the client so they can keep track of their reclamation and remediation programs visually, spatially, and in real time.
If you’re interested in booking a meeting with Janine to explore how the AiM Reclamation and Remediation team can assist in your next project. Reach out ….
