How Did You Get Started In This Industry?
“I started out working in pipeline construction, then apprenticed as a pipefitter. I soon realized I should go back to school to find something where I could work with both landowners and industry. I took both the Land Agent and Land Administration program at Olds College. I have worked consistently in land for the past 10 years.”
What are your key responsibilities at AiM?
“Project management plus field land acquisition for pipeline ROWs, surface leases, temporary workspace agreements and surface rental amendments.”

“No great achiever – even those who made it seem easy – ever succeeded without hard work.”
What are a few of your proudest achievements at AiM?
- Acquiring a 30km pipeline in a very sensitive area in under 6 weeks.
- Working collaboratively with the team for routing / acquiring / constructing a 600km pipeline.

What charities or organizations are you involved with?
“I am a regular volunteer yoga instructor at the Rowan House women’s shelter in High River.”
What do you like to do when you’re not working?
“I love snowmobiling in the mountains.”
