How did you get started in this industry?
“I began working in the industry because I was inspired and enthused by the development of energy and mineral resources in Alberta. Throughout my career, I have participated with large maintenance programs, emergency response repairs and effectively coordinated facilitating field efforts that span from British Columbia to Manitoba.”
What are your key responsibilities at AiM?
“I manage and motivate people to do great work, to develop good work habits and processes that are repeatable and auditable. I succeed at cost breakdown and project scope analysis. Providing expertise to our clients and team members.”
What quote inspires you?
“Leaders become great not because of their power, but because of their ability to empower others.”
What are a few of your proudest achievements at AiM?
“I take great pride in being a knowledge seeker constantly striving to understand every aspect of land and the ever-changing regulations. I am proud of my decisive decisions in managing programs that include pipeline construction as well as pipeline maintenance programs. I also take gratification in furthering established close-knit relationship with my clients and fellow industry workers.”

What do you value when building relationships?
“I work to build lifelong relationships. I feel I can disarm many potential volatile situations by taking the time to listen, having an open mind, and addressing people’s concerns. I endeavor to develop consensus in a constructive manner, where both parties win and are happy with the outcome.”
How would you describe the environment at AiM?
“I feel valued, like each person individually brings something different to the team. I am driven to keep learning, and continually feel encouraged to keep growing as a manager.”
What charities or organizations are you involved with?

- Canadian Cancer Association
- Home Front (women’s shelter).
What do you like to do when you’re not working?
“Going to the mountains with my family, camping, playing soccer with my kids, and traveling.”
